These Terms apply to your use of the TrackTrip mobile application and dashboard services. By using TrackTrip, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the App

TrackTrip is designed for school, corporate, and authorized transportation fleet tracking. The app provides real-time trip monitoring for safety and operational purposes.

TrackTrip must not be used for personal surveillance or tracking individuals without their consent.

2. Accounts and Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Location Tracking

• Location data is collected only during active trips.
• Background location may be used when the app is closed to maintain continuous trip tracking.
• No location data is collected when no trip is active.

4. Camera Usage

The camera is used solely for scanning QR codes to start or verify trips. The app does not record, store, or transmit images or video.

5. Data Usage

We use data to:

• Show real-time trip progress
• Provide trip history and safety information
• Improve app functionality

6. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use the app to track any person without authorization
• Modify, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the application
• Use the service for illegal or harmful activities

7. Service Availability & Disclaimer

The app is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of route mapping, or GPS signal availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrackTrip is not responsible for any damages, accidents, or losses resulting from the use of the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for unauthorized tracking.
