Common questions and quick answers

1. Does TrackTrip track location all the time?

No. TrackTrip only shares your location during an active trip. When the trip ends, background location sharing automatically stops.

2. Why does the app ask for "Allow all the time" location permission?

Drivers need continuous route tracking for safety. This permission ensures the route is recorded even if the app is minimized.

3. Is my camera being recorded while scanning QR codes?

No. The camera is used only to scan QR codes. No images or videos are captured, stored, or shared.

4. Does TrackTrip work without internet?

Yes. If offline, location points are stored and automatically uploaded once internet returns.

5. Why can’t the bus location be seen sometimes?

This usually happens if the driver disabled GPS, denied background location permission, or closed the app.

6. Does TrackTrip share or sell my data?

No. We never sell personal data. Limited data may be used for analytics only to improve service reliability.

7. How do I reset my password?
